City: Interlaken

Interlaken is situated on the Aare River between the Brienz and Thun lakes, in the Bernese Oberland region at the foot of the three wold famous mountains Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau. The town of 15'000 inhabitants features many special events, ranging from traditional folklore festivals to contemporary culture. There is the Open Air William Tell Theatre or the Interlaken Music Festival.

Thanks to its location and infrastructure Interlaken also is the ideal base for excursions into its surroundings.
