General Information
The unique landscape surrounding Brunnen (pop. 7’200) by the lake with the snowcapped mountains and the lush green valley leading to the Mythen (1898 and 1’811 meters) formed together with the historic cantonal capital of Schwyz and the alpine resort of Morschach an attraction that was known all over Europe. The central location of the area offers adventurous visitors a wide range of excursions and walks. Walkers are rewarded by the magnificent views from Mount Rigi, Mythen or Stoss. The entire holiday region has a varied entertainment program to suit every guest: open-air concerts, folklore shows, classical music, tennis tournaments, local customs as well as a holiday program with tours and excursions.
