Münchenwiler Castle – not far from the historic town of Murten – lies in the centre of a spacious park. The dignified atmosphere of stately times awaits you here. Founded as a Cluniac priory, later extended to become a Bernese feudal residence, today we welcome you to the historic but modernised castle complex. The castle has a total of 40 rooms, as well as an à la carte restaurant with seating for 60 guests. Seminars and banquets are also organised at Münchenwiler Castle.

Münchenwiler Castle is idyllically situated 2 kilometres above Murten, in the middle of a small village with 500 inhabitants.
It is 30 minutes by car from Bern.
The castle can be reached on foot in 15 minutes from Courgevaux-Münchenwiler railway station.
Murten railway station is 2 km away and you can reach the castle within 5 minutes by bus.
