The 3*** star superior Derby Hotel in Grindelwald is situated in a central location directly at the train station. The traditional hotel is a home of familial hospitality and offers the ideal departure point for all kinds of summer and winter sports, as well as an excursion to the legendary Jungfraujoch. The 69 comfortably furnished rooms provide the right atmosphere to relax.

After an eventful day outside in the fresh alpine air, you are welcome to relax in the sauna, which is free of charge, or use the indoor swimming pool at the sports center in 300 m walking distance, where you get 50% off your admission with your guest card. The delicate Bernese cuisine can be enjoyed in à la carte restaurant Föhrenstube.

Please note that the parking possibilities are limited, vary by size of the vehicle and therefore cannot be reserved in advance. In order to be able to offer a parking space at no charge for our guests, we kindly ask to deposit the car keys at the reception desk on arrival. Our porters will be pleased to take care of placing all vehicles.

Please note that from 04 March 2024, due to a construction site at Grindelwald Railway Station, noise can be expected on the north-side of the Hotel Derby.
